Badger and the Fox

Badger and the Fox

It’s been quite a while – even for me.  So I thought I would show you my two latest babies.

This is a drawing in graphite 12×8 on 15×11 paper.

My operation went well and the cuts/scars are healing nicely.  I can’t say I’m cancer free yet but at least the operation is over with.

I must say sorry for not being able to visit everyone’s blogs recently.  Hopefully things will look-up in 2014.

Now I just need to finish the painting I started before all this started….

  1. Glad you’re back. I had noticed your absence, but didn’t know you were dealing with health issues. You came back with a bang, with that wonderful artwork, and thank you for posting it.

  2. Stew!!! Good to see you back! I as well had no idea what you have been going through, but Im so happy your surgery went well and you are on the mend and back : ) What a beautiful drawing, I absolutely love badgers and foxes. You captures the softness on these little guys so well.

Really happy to see you back and again and I hope you are doing well, you are in my thoughts.

I see you have some wonderful foxes on your blog too.
I am so sorry to hear that your little girl is in hospital – I was unaware of this. I hope she is ok and gets well quickly.
      Stew.

  4. Glad to see you back and hear that the surgery went well. And what a beautiful piece of art – with such amazing detail!

    And concerning you health:

    May God give you…
    For every storm, a rainbow,
    For every tear, a smile,
    For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
    For every problem life sends,
    A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

  5. Wow Stew! This is just amazing. The detail you capture is riveting. I am very glad you are healing and I am hoping the cancer will be gone. Keep us posted! As you can see…quite a few of us are fans!
